Athanasios (Tom) Papadopoulos was born in Greece and spent the first seven years of his life there before he, his mother, father, and sister, moved to the United States in 1969.

Tom was greatly inspired by his grandfather, an iconographer in Greece, as well as his Uncle Dimitrios Vlazakis.

Tom creates commission portraits for private clients, and has his personal work on display at the gallery. He has created original artworks for Harrah’s Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown, New Jersey and Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
